CAUSE ANALYSIS OF COAL FACE ACCIDENT

Abstract

The causes of coal face accidents are many, including human operation, technical failure, management defects and environmental factors. Through statistical analysis and summary of historical accident data, this paper aims to identify the main risk sources and accident cause models in coal face. By using the research methods of literature review, field investigation, questionnaire survey and in-depth interview, coal face accident cases at home and abroad are comprehensively analyzed. The results show that the causes of the accident are complex and changeable, but there are generally preventable and controllable factors. Based on the results of empirical analysis, a series of targeted preventive measures, including improving operating procedures, strengthening staff training, upgrading technical equipment level and optimizing management system, are aimed at reducing the accident rate and enhancing the safety of coal face.
